The Sherline 14-Inch 8-Direction Benchtop Mill XY Base CNC Ready (Inch) is a sophisticated milling machine base designed for precision and versatility. It is engineered to accommodate stepper motors on each axis, making it ready for CNC applications. The inclusion of handwheels allows for manual control, providing flexibility in operation. The base and table are equipped with laser-engraved scales, enhancing accuracy in measurements and adjustments.

This benchtop mill features a robust 14-inch mill base and a 13-inch mill table, ensuring ample space for various milling tasks. The X- and Y-axes are fitted with NEMA #23 stepper motor mounts, facilitating the integration of stepper motors for automated control. Additionally, the handwheels on these axes are resettable and zero adjustable, with laser-engraved aluminum collars, allowing for precise manual adjustments when necessary.

An oil reservoir is integrated into the X/Y axes, ensuring smooth operation and longevity of the machine components. The travel capacity of the mill is substantial, with the X-axis offering 8.65 inches and the Y-axis providing 7.0 inches of movement, accommodating a wide range of milling projects.
